Visiting the Tiszaközi Local Branch of MME

Satisfying to the invitation of the newly developed Tiszaközi Local Branch of the MME, we took a presentation of the Project entitled „Cooperation to establish a cross-border bird monitoring network and on-line database”. Our primary purpose was to demonstrate the primary objectives of the project, the residing opportunities and to give an idea to the present volunteers how they can join the monitoring works for the successful implementation of the project.

Károly Nagy the leader of the monitoring and research group of MME presented the general aims of the project, the applied monitoring methods and the structure and use of the on-line data base that will be developed in the frame of the project.

Volunteers of the Local Branch have showed interest in participating the monitoring programmes as a result of our visiting.
